This is a miniature (1:12 scale) "Front Porch" display that I created for myself because my house doesn't have a front porch.  I wanted to decorate it for the seasons and holidays.  I display it just past my entryway so that I can enjoy it each time I enter my house.

I created it from an image of a front porch that I wish I had.  It is made from recycled cardboard, paper egg cartons, & styrofoam.  I used a string of fairy lights  to light the side windows and the lanterns.  The lanterns are made from some ballpoint pen parts.  I made the bench and welcome sign on my laser cutter, and the wreath is made from tiny pinecones I collected on the mountain.  I cut th

This is a thrifted whiskey box that I turned into a British Colonial style library book nook.  I engraved some recycled leather and created book spines for the exterior doors.  This won a first place at our local miniature show.

I made a chair from some leather scraps and cardboard.  The monkey lamp is cut and carved out of walnut wood and lights up. The globe is made from bead findings and paper.  The boat is carved out of balsa wood.  I taught myself how to needle felt to make the zebra rug.

A hollowed out faux apple made the perfect mouse house.  I love finding the whimsey in everyday items.   I needle felted the mouse (my second project)  repainted a fairy ornament and sculped baby mouse out of clay.  Sold for $50

I created the pattern, cut it on my laser and hand painted everything.  It is mounted on a lazy susan so that it can spin.  It has fairy lights.  Can be custom ordered in other styles and colors. Starting at $200

This was a custom order for a Harry Potter themed room box. (My first ever created) They requested a Slytherin dorm room but with iconic pieces from all of the movies.  I love the way it turned out.   A 4-6 week time frame is needed for a project like this.

I sculpted most of the pieces from polymer clay.  Cut, assembled and painted the furniture.  Made the chandelier from lace, straws and fairy lights.  Filled all of the potion bottles with various items.  Beheaded a "Fluffy" toy to have him coming out of the trap door. 

I wrapped the exterior with faux snake skin vinyl and added a plexiglass removeable front to keep the dust out.

This was the first book nook I made from the request of a friend.  I created the whole scene from a photo image from the series The Vampire Diaries.  This took me a year to complete, as I worked on it off and on as I learned new skills. It features multiple layered laser cut wood pieces that are hand painted, as well as the faux street scene.  It lights up with a battery operated string of lights.

I wrapped the exterior with some natural leather that I engraved, dyed and painted.
